Only just had a look at this. Whats with the hands on, bounce the baby against the bottom of the pool and keep it underwater longer than it needs to be?
Theres a nice twin waterbirth story coming up soon in The practising midwife by the way!

Talk about stimulating the baby?! Whats with all the hands on?! And why did she keep the baby under the water for so long after she had put her hands on!? Confused? This is just the complete opposite of water I have been taught and done myself in practice?

I dont like this video, have read info on babies dying during water births, all though i am for them. Surely the best thing is for baby to be given to mum not bounced and used like a zoo animal to view?
